Jason Statham is a well-known British actor who is recognized for action and thriller movies all over the world. With a career spanning more than 20 years now, he has built a global fanbase through blockbuster hits like Crank, The Transporter, The Meg, Furious 7 and more. Before stepping into the spotlight as an actor, Statham spent nearly 12 years as a competitive diver, representing the UK as Britain’s National Diving Team. He also competed in the 1990 Commonwealth Games. His Diving skills allow him to perform many intense stunt scenes in his movies. Statham made his acting debut in 1998 with Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, directed by Guy Ritchie. Before acting, he worked as a model and appeared in several advertising campaigns. He is highly trained in martial arts, diving, and karate, and is known for performing most of his own stunts and car chase scenes, resulting in realism to his action-packed performances.
