Devon Aoki

Devon Aoki is a former American fashion model and actress known for her role as Suki in 2 Fast 2 Furious. Born on August 10, 1982, in New York City, Devon Aoki is the daughter of Rocky Aoki, who was a professional offshore powerboat racer, amateur wrestler, and the founder of the Japanese cuisine restaurant chain (Benihana) and Genesis magazine. She is also the sister of popular American DJ and record producer Steve Aoki.
Devon Aoki started her career as a fashion model in her early teens. As per some reports, Aoki's grandmother was connected to fashion designer Gianni Versace, due to which she became a recognized face in the fashion industry and became the face of Versace at 16 years of age. Through the fashion industry, she got into movies with her debut in Death of a Dynasty in 2003, in which she played the role of Picasso. The same year, she appeared in 2 Fast 2 Furious, in which she played Suki, a racer and Tej's crew member. Despite being a small side-character role, she got huge attention in 2 Fast 2 Furious, and many people appreciated her for this role.
After 2 Fast 2 Furious, Aoki appeared in D.E.B.S. (2004) as Dominique, a stylish international assassin. In 2005, she was seen in Sin City, a crime/action film. Her performance as Miho received major praise from audiences for her intense and well-executed sword-fighting scenes.
In 2006, she appeared in DOA: Dead or Alive, playing the role of Kasumi. This marked her first major leading role in a film. She was later part of the action thriller War (2007), where she played Kira.
In 2011, she married James Bailey, who is the co-founder and CEO of the private equity firm Bailey Capital. She has not been seen much in the entertainment industry for a long time. Her last on-screen appearance was in the 2018 music video Waste It on Me.
