Later, he got into the Mexican entertainment industry in the late 1980s. He got recognition and became famous through Mexican television during the 1990s and early 2000s. Alfredo was known for hosting and playing characters like wealthy men, authority figures, businessmen, fathers, villains, and romantic drama characters in Mexican TV shows. For his charismatic and formal professional personality, he was considered a recognizable face in Latin American television at the peak of his acting career.
