The Fast and Furious series features an amazing cast and crew, each with their own incredible legacy and fan following. The second film, 2 Fast 2 Furious, was one of the fans' favorites, starring Paul Walker and Tyrese Gibson in lead roles. The film also featured an amazing cast including Cole Hauser, Eva Mendes, Ludacris, Amaury Nolasco, and more.
Another standout character that doesn't get talked about much is Suki. Many people search online for her as the "Asian girl in Fast and Furious," but the truth is she is neither Chinese nor Asian. The role of Suki was played by American model and actress Devon Aoki, who was born and raised in the United States.
Suki Role in Fast and Furious (2 Fast 2 Furious)
Suki's role was one of the most visually iconic side characters in the entire Fast & Furious franchise. However, she appears only in 2 Fast 2 Furious (Fast & Furious 2), and that was her one and only official appearance in the series.
Suki was introduced as a street racer in Miami who drives a bright pink Honda S2000 and is connected to Tej Parker's crew in the Miami racing scene. Tej is also shown falling for her and giving her playful compliments. Her first appearance takes place at the beginning of the film during an underground street race organized by Tej Parker, where Julius, Suki, and Tej are waiting for a fourth racer to start the race. Brian O'Conner is then brought in to compete.
During the race, she attempts the dangerous bridge jump using nitrous and finishes second after crashing her car due to the impact of the jump.
Suki's character represents confidence, a stylish female racer with extremely bold Y2K fashion, a daring personality, and high energy in a male-dominated racing culture.
Suki Car Details

Suki pulls up in a bright pink 2001 Honda S2000 featuring fully customized pink interiors, aftermarket chrome alloy wheels, anime-style side decals, a nitrous system, and a custom VeilSide body kit. The car also includes a personalized telemetry monitoring display that shows her name along with an anime-style character graphic on the screen — perfectly matching her Y2K aesthetic.
The Honda S2000 (AP1) was produced for the U.S. market from 1999 to 2003. It was built to celebrate Honda's 50th anniversary and featured a hand-assembled engine. Under the hood sat a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated inline-four engine with 1,997 cc displacement, a VTEC valvetrain, and a high 11.0:1 compression ratio.
The engine produced 240 horsepower at 8,300 RPM and 208 Nm of torque at 7,500 RPM. At the time, it held the record for the highest horsepower-per-liter output for a naturally aspirated production engine. Power was sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission, staying true to its pure sports car DNA.
Performance-wise, the S2000 could accelerate from 0–100 km/h in around 5.7 seconds and had a top speed of approximately 240 km/h.
